FELT SLATS

FoCol felt slats utilize PET felt which is a soft but sturdy material that offers acoustic performance and can be recycled at the end of its life. The Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) felt incorporates 60% recycled material (primarily plastic beverage bottles). Each FoCol section recycles approximately 375 plastic bottles. The standard FoCol configurations utilize between 1,125 and 3,375 recycled plastic bottles each. PET felt is CARB 2 certified, Red List Free and is ASTM E84 Class A fire rated.

WOOD FINS

FoCol wood fins are made from sustainably forested Rubberwood plywood with Birch veneer. Rubberwood comes from plantation- grown Rubber trees and is a straight-grained tropical hardwood timber. Rubber latex is harvested annually from trees 5 to 30 years old. When rubberwood trees stop producing latex, the trees are felled and replaced with seedlings. Rubberwood is deemed an agricultural byproduct because the primary agricultural harvest is the latex. Rubberwood plywood with Birch veneer is CARB 2 certified and Red List Free. The Birch veneer is FSC certified. The chain of custody for the Rubberwood is fully traceable back to the country of origin.

Available in 5 stain finishes.
