Maria Barbera
Creative Director
Maria graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, IL, with a degree in Advertising Design. Beyond her graphic design skills, Maria specializes in branding, packaging, and environmental graphics.
Kevin Collins
Engineering Manager
Kevin has a bachelor of science degree in Product Design Engineering from Western Michigan University’s Lee Honors College in Kalamazoo, MI. Kevin’s area of expertise is industrial engineering.
Andy Cremer
Vice President of Design & Product Development
Andy leads the creative design and development teams at MIRAN and has experience in many areas, including international product design and commercialization. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BFA in Industrial Design.
Jim Draper
Project Management Group Leader
Jim is a journeyman machinist and applies his knowledge to prototype building as he leads the project management team at MIRAN.
Karen Hannon
Manager of Client Services
Karen studied business and project management and now applies her project management expertise as she leads MIRAN’s Client Services team.
Damon Johnstun
Senior Creative Director
Damon graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Interior Architecture. While in school, he studied abroad in Rome, Seoul, and Tokyo. Researching design trends and environmental and luxury brand design are among his areas of expertise. Damon is LEED AP ID+C certified.
Kurt Katsma
National Sales Manager
Kurt graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI, with degrees in Marketing and Finance. While in college, Kurt studied in Budapest, Hungary. He applies his marketing and sales skills as he leads the sales team.
Tan Le
Senior Creative Director
Tan graduated with a BA in Graphic Communications from the University of Houston. He specializes in brand development and graphic and human-centered design. Tan is a Fellow Member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
Greg Latsch
Director of Product Feasibility
Greg combines his knowledge of structure, aesthetics, and economics to solve customer needs. He graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with degrees in Civil Engineering and Structural Design.
Walter Miranda
President
Walter holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois. As he leads MIRAN, his focus is on business strategy and business development.
Caleigh Stowe
Product Development Engineer
Caleigh majored in product design and manufacturing engineering from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI. She brings her product design and development engineering expertise to the product design team.
